Ghanaian rapper Medikal has been trending on social media after a viral video captured him issuing a stern warning to a fan during a live performance.

In a video shared on X on August 23, 2025, Medikal was seen pausing his performance midway to caution a fan who had been throwing GH¢1 notes at him.

According to the rapper, he is blessed and feels he has outgrown the gesture of being sprayed with low-denomination currency.

“Nobody should throw GH¢1 at me because I have passed that level. My nigga, stop that long thing. God has blessed me, you are mad,” he said.

Despite the warning, the fan was later seen throwing GH¢5 notes, further provoking the ‘Shoulder’ hitmaker.

Visibly unimpressed, Medikal then asked security to prevent the fan from continuing the act.

The video has since sparked mixed reactions online. While some netizens expressed disappointment in the rapper’s response, others supported him, arguing that the fan was disrupting his performance.
