    Ghana’s 4x100m relay team have begun their camping in Texas, USA, ahead of the 2025 World Athletics Championship in Tokyo, Japan.

    Ghana’s 4x100m Relay Team, who qualified for the World Athletics Championship in May with a time of 38.32 seconds, will be training at the Texas A&M University.

    Team Ghana, comprising Joseph Paul Amoah, Sean Safo-Antwi, Fuseini Ibrahim, Barnabas Aggerh, and Mustapha Alufu Bokpin, secured their spot after finishing second in their heat at the World Athletics Relays in Guangzhou, China.

    The team led by captain Abdul Rasheed-Saminu will be trained by coach George Pincock, the head of track and field at the A&M University in Texas, USA.

    Below is the best time of Ghana’s team members ahead of the World Athletics Championship in September 2025.

    Benjamin Azamati – 9.98s (+1.2) – Sherman Oaks, CA – May 22

    Abdul-Rasheed Saminu – 9.84s (+1.5) – Powder Springs, GA – Jul 19

    Ibrahim Fuseini – 10.03s (−3.0) – Lubbock, TX – May 1

    Barnabas Aggerh – 10.06s (+1.9) – Marion, IN – May 23

    Joseph Paul Amoah – 10.08s (+1.5) – London, CAN – Jun 22

    Mustapha Bokpin – 10.09s (+1.4) – Powder Springs, GA – Jul 19

    Isaac Botsio – 10.11s (+1.6) – Canyon, TX – Apr 10
