Black Stars midfielder, Thomas Partey, has completed his first training session with Villarreal today, August 8, 2025, after finalising a move to join the La Liga side.

The player undertook some training drills with his teammates for the morning session as the club prepare ahead of the 2025/2026 season.

The former Arsenal star looked motivated, working on his passes with other players including dribbling, shooting, and physical conditioning.

The video, shared by Villarreal on their official X page on August 8, 2025, garnered admiration from some fans who were impressed with Partey’s activeness in training.

Villareal confirmed Partey’s deal on their social media platforms on Thursday, August 7, 2025, stating that the 32-year-old would join up with the team soon.

“Villarreal CF and Thomas Partey have reached an agreement for the Ghanaian footballer to join the Yellows ahead of the 2025/26 season. The player will join up with his new team tomorrow at the Training Ground,” the club posted.

Partey arrives as a free agent after leaving Arsenal following the expiration of his contract in June 2025.
