Empress Gifty is a Ghanaian gospel musician
A video of Empress Gifty has gone viral on social media, showing her bursting out with laughter at a joke about convicted preacher Nana Agradaa.
In the video shared on X on August 3, 2025, Empress Gifty and her husband, Hopeson Adorye, who were present at the just-ended DKY Night of Comedy and Music, were seen laughing at the joke cracked by popular comedienne Jacinta.
Jacinta, in her jokes about the preacher, noted how she transitioned from a fetish priest to an evangelist and now, as a convict, serving a 15-year jail term in Nsawam.
Jacinta noted, “Another person I have been praying for very well is Agradaa. Only one person, satan, called her; God too called, and now prison has called her. Nothing must happen to these people; they are national treasures.”
This statement dissolved Empress Gifty and her husband into uncontrollable laughter.
It would be recalled that Agradaa and Empress Gifty have recently been embroiled in a public feud, with tensions escalating after the convicted preacher allegedly made a derogatory comment about the gospel musician.
Also, Empress Gifty is praying for a Tema High Court to award her a sum of GH¢20 million due to derogatory comments made against her by Nana Agradaa.
