Media personality Odade3 Chris has stirred conversation around modern relationships, saying that dating multiple people is not cheating, as long as all parties involved are aware and agree.
Speaking on the BMPS show aired on JoyPrime, Chris argued that transparency is key in dating.
“If you’re talking to two or three people, you should be bold enough to tell each of them your mindset,” he said.
He emphasised that the issue is not with dating multiple people, but with deception.
According to him, cheating only happens when someone hides the existence of other partners.
“If you make someone feel like they are the only one, and there’s no other person, that’s cheating,” he explained.
Chris encouraged open communication in dating, noting that many women also date multiple men.
“Most ladies also date multiple men. But when everyone is open about their mindset, it becomes part of the process, not betrayal,” he said.
He added that once there is mutual understanding and consent, even intimacy within such arrangements should not be considered cheating.
“There’s no cheating if the lady and the man both know what’s happening and are cool with it,” he stated.
