Ghanaian musician Black Sherif made his performance at the Share a Coke concert special by bringing a fan believed to be a sign language interpreter on stage in the middle of his performance.

To make everyone feel included, Black Sherif, also known as Blacko, invited the fan on stage to sign his song “Sacrifice” for people with hearing difficulties.

Many praised the act as a thoughtful effort by Black Sherif to make his music accessible to people in the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Black Sherif performed nearly all the tracks on his newly released album, Iron Boy, treating fans to an energetic show.

The event also featured other artistes and performers. Jesus Christ 2 singer, Arathejay, AlorG X Bhadmayors, Jubed and Kawabanga took the stage, along with dancers from the DWP Academy, who delivered high-energy performances that kept the audience engaged.

The event was organised as part of Coca-Cola’s Share a Coke campaign and also tied into the company’s ongoing campaign to connect with consumers on a personal level.

As part of the initiative, Coca-Cola is customising bottles with individual names, allowing customers to purchase drinks with their own names on the bottle.
