Nations FC has named Kennedy Boakye Ansah as its new Chief Executive Officer, expressing strong confidence that his leadership will propel the Ghana Premier League club to new heights.

The announcement, made through a statement released on July 17, 2025, reinforces the club’s ambition to build on its recent successes and establish itself as a dominant force in Ghanaian football.

Boakye Ansah, a seasoned football administrator with a proven track record (former Communications Director for Asante Kotoko, where he honed his skills in branding, stakeholder engagement, and media relations) steps into the role with a clear mandate to drive Nations FC’s growth both on and off the pitch.

The club, which secured promotion to the Ghana Premier League in 2023, has quickly gained attention for its competitive performances and strategic vision.

Club officials believe Boakye Ansah’s expertise in football management, stakeholder engagement, and commercial development makes him the ideal leader to guide Nations FC into its next chapter.

In a statement, the club’s board highlighted Boakye Ansah’s dynamic leadership and deep understanding of the game as key reasons for his appointment.

“Kennedy Boakye Ansah is the right man to take Nations FC to the next level. His vision aligns perfectly with our goal of building a sustainable, competitive, and community-driven club that can compete at the highest levels of Ghanaian and African football,” the statement read.

Boakye Ansah expressed enthusiasm for the role, emphasising his commitment to fostering a winning culture while strengthening the club’s infrastructure.

“I am honoured to join Nations FC at this exciting time. Together with the board, players, and supporters, we will work tirelessly to achieve our shared ambitions, from enhancing our performance in the Ghana Premier League to expanding our community impact and commercial partnerships,” he said.

The appointment comes as Nations FC aims to solidify its place in the top tier of Ghanaian football.

With a talented squad and growing fanbase, the club is focused on improving its competitive standing, upgrading facilities and attracting new investment.

Boakye Ansah’s experience is expected to play a pivotal role in navigating these challenges and capitalising on opportunities in the evolving football landscape.

As Nations FC prepares for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season, all eyes will be on the new CEO to deliver on the club’s lofty ambitions.
