    The 2024 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) has entered its most decisive stage, with eight nations booking their spots in the quarter-finals.

    Matchups announced on CAF Women’s Football social media platforms promise an exciting lineup as the tournament in Morocco enters its concluding stage.

    In the quarter-finals, host Morocco faces Mali on July 18, 2025, at 8:00 PM at the Olympic Stadium, looking to keep their strong campaign going in front of home fans.

    On July 19, 2025, at 5:00 PM, Algeria takes on a rejuvenated Ghana at the Berkane Municipal Stadium in a tight West-North African clash.

    In the other quarterfinal matchups, defending champions Nigeria face Zambia on July 18, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium as both teams who are among the favourites, slug it out for the final.

    South Africa aims to reclaim the title they last won in 2022 as they face off with Senegal on July 19, 2025, at 8:00 PM at Honneur Stadium.

    Quarter-final winners will advance to the semi-finals on July 22 and 24.

    The tournament will conclude with the final slated for July 26 at the Olympic Stadium.

    A third-place match takes place on July 25 at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium.

    Africa’s top women’s teams now head into exciting matchups, competing for continental supremacy and spots in upcoming global tournaments.
