Popular media personality and entertainment pundit, MC Yaa Yeboah, has come to the defence of embattled Ghanaian socialite and musician Hajia4Reall, following a wave of social media accusations linking her to the recent arrests of alleged fraudsters connected to a $100 million cybercrime ring.

During an appearance on UTV’s United Showbiz program, Yaa Yeboah addressed growing speculation that Hajia4Reall had cooperated with the FBI, allegedly providing key information that led to the arrest of several Ghanaian nationals, including the notorious Kofi Boat and two others identified by the aliases “Agony” and a third unnamed individual.

The trio are currently facing extradition to the United States over their alleged involvement in elaborate romance scams and money laundering activities.

Social media platforms have since been ablaze with claims that Hajia4Reall “snitched” to save herself from her own legal troubles, prompting fierce public debate.

But MC Yaa Yeboah pushed back firmly, arguing that if Hajia4Reall indeed provided information to the FBI, she did so within the confines of the law — and possibly even out of civic duty.

“Let’s assume Hajia4Reall was the one who provided the FBI with this information,” Yaa Yeboah said on air. “What wrong would she have done? It would actually be against our Criminal Offences Act if she had prior knowledge of individuals engaging in illicit activities and chose to remain silent.”

Citing Section 20 of Ghana’s Criminal Offences Act, she emphasized that knowingly withholding information about criminal activity could itself constitute a punishable offence.

She further stated that whistleblowers should not be vilified but rather appreciated for aiding in the fight against crime.

Yaa Yeboah also issued a strong warning to critics branding Hajia4Reall a “snitch,” stressing that the FBI does not make arrests based on hearsay or social media gossip. “The FBI works with solid intelligence and background checks,” she noted.

“Throwing accusations around not only tarnishes reputations, it could also endanger lives.”

As legal proceedings unfold and more details emerge, MC Yaa Yeboah’s stance has reignited important conversations about civic responsibility, legal obligations, and how society treats individuals who cooperate with law enforcement in high-profile criminal cases.
