Stephen Appiah, a member of the Black Stars Management Committee, has praised the performance of new players who joined the team for the Unity Cup.

According to Appiah, these players have made a positive impact and shown themselves well.

The new players’ impressive debut has given Appiah hope for the team’s future prospects. He believes that Ghana has a good chance of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Appiah expressed his confidence in Ghana’s qualification chances, saying, “The new players who came showed themselves [well]. So yeah I am very convinced that we still have four games to play but when you do the calculations, nothing tells me that we are not going to qualify.”

Ghana will reassemble in September for crucial World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali.

Appiah’s praise for the new players suggests that they will play a key role in the team’s qualification bid.
