Ghanaian singer, Efya, has praised Ayisha Modi for her involvement in the entertainment industry, stating that her actions help keep the space lively and engaging.

In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, Efya expressed her views after Ayisha Modi sent a message through the host to let them know she was tuned in to the live program.

Efya responded with a warm shoutout and proceeded to commend Ayisha for her energy and involvement in industry affairs.

She explained that while she respects the role people like Ayisha play in stirring conversations within the entertainment scene, she personally wouldn’t engage in such confrontations.

“What Ayisha Modi and the others are doing is what makes the game nice because someone like me won’t get into a battle with anyone. It’s a battle; it’s a warzone and I don’t have the heart or the vim for it,” Efya said.

She added; “In situations like that, I’ll just cry.”

Efya clarified that she is in support of healthy competition that motivates artistes and pushes the industry forward but drew a line at negativity and violence.

“I enjoy healthy competition to boost your energy as long as it doesn’t get negative and violent. We don’t condone violence but strength to all the warriors,” she emphasised.

Ayisha Modi has been making headlines in recent weeks for her rants in which she accused certain entertainment figures of betrayal and spoke extensively about the efforts she has made to support Ghana’s entertainment industry.
