Charterhouse, the organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs), have introduced a revamped approach to the red-carpet experience for the 26th edition of the prestigious event.

In a press statement, they have disclosed that this year, not just anyone will be seen strutting down the red carpet rather only invited personalities will be granted access.

They revealed that there will be two separate red-carpet segments.

One will cater to general media interactions and photo shoots, while the other, the main televised red carpet, will feature high-profile guests answering the iconic “Who are you wearing?” question.

According to them, only those with official invites will get to walk that particular stage.

They stated that this move is aimed at bringing a more polished and organised feel to the red-carpet experience.

In past editions, the red carpet has come under fire for being overcrowded and lacking structure, with some critics unhappy about the individuals interviewed or the fashion choices displayed.
