Liverpool are champions of England once again and the party has well and truly started.
Thousands of jubilant fans packed the streets outside Anfield after Arne Slot‘s side thrashed Tottenham 5-1 to seal a record-equalling 20th English league title.
The visitors took the lead through Dominic Solanke on 12 minutes, but after Luis Diaz‘s equaliser four minutes later, there was no looking back for Liverpool.
Alexis MacAllister, Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah added to the goal-fest, with Destiny Udogie’s own goal securing a fifth for the hosts.
Salah had earlier borrowed the phone of a fan and posed for a selfie with the Kop roaring behind him, moments after scoring Liverpool’s fourth goal of the game.
Supporters scaled the railings by the Kop, waved scarves from rooftops and even clambered onto a passing Greggs van to get the best view of the red sea stretching down Anfield Road.

After the final whistle sounded, Arne Slot ripped off his jumper to reveal a Liverpool shirt with ‘Champions 24-25’ printed on the back.
The new manager, who has won the title in his first season in English football, even joined in the celebrations by dancing in front of the jubilant fans.
Slot joins Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, Claudio Ranieri, Antonio Conte and Manuel Pelligrini as the only managers to win the title in their debut campaign.
Sunday’s result capped off an extraordinary introduction to English football for Slot, who also paid tribute to his predecessor by chanting the name of Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp had done the same for Slot at the end of last season to encourage Reds fans to get behind the incoming manager.
Slot now has an English title to go alongside the Dutch crown he won with Feyenoord, and Liverpool look well placed to kick on again next season.
Liverpool will lift the Premier League trophy after their final game of the season when they host Crystal Palace on May 25.

The day after, an open top bus parade is expected to follow these celebrations, marking the end of Liverpool fans’ 35-year wait to celebrate a league title in person.
Their side last lifted the trophy behind closed doors when Klopp led Liverpool to Premier League glory in 2019-20, a season plagued by COVID-19 regulations.
With four games to go until the end of the current campaign, Liverpool become the third-earliest champions in Premier League history. Klopp’s side still hold the record from when they won with seven to spare in 2020.
With Sunday’s success, questions will be asked as to whether Liverpool are the most successful club in English football history, having now equalled Man United with 68 major honours.
If Community Shield titles are removed, the Merseyside club lead their rivals 52 to 47.
