Lauren Boebert stunned in a minidress at a key fundraising dinner attended by President Trump.
The Colorado representative was one of many high-profile guests at the National Republican Congressional Committee’s annual gala in Washington, D.C, on Tuesday.
Boebert was pictured on Instagram posing with Congressman Bryon Donalds and tech investor Ed Buckley.
But it was her tight-fitting minidress which caught the attention of some. The garment included white polka dots, a high neck, and barely-there sheer material over her arms and shoulders.
The controversial dress choice comes as Boebert has already faced backlash for her seemingly reckless nature. A series of scandals have followed the representative, one most infamously after she was asked to leave a performance of the Beetlejuice musical for groping her date in the dark.
Amid Boebert’s son’s legal battles and her 2023 divorce following accusations of domestic abuse, Trump wrote that she was a ‘proven conservative’ and a ‘trusted America First Fighter.’
While many other NRCC attendees opted for mid or floor length dresses for the formal event, Boebert’s sat inches above the knee.
Beauty and entertainment column The List dubbed the dress ‘overcomplicated’ with its sheer layer and polka dot pattern.

Another report labelled the dress choice as ‘inappropriate’ for the event.
The same outfit was also previously donned by Boebert at a much less formal gathering, where other attendees were seen in jeans, in February.
The event was about much more than the outfits worn, however, as Trump’s speech bragged about the tariffs and said the Republican party is set to ‘defy history.’
Trump also claimed that panicked world leaders were ‘dying to make a deal’ over trade tariffs.
During his 90-minute speech, he said: ‘I am telling you, these countries are calling us up, kissing my ass,’ the president said during a speech at the National Republican Congressional Committee Dinner in Washington.
‘They are dying to make a deal. “Please, please sir, make a deal. I’ll do anything sir.”‘
Trump remained defiant as he spoke to his MAGA base at the event.
‘They ripped us off left and right. But now it’s our turn to do the ripping,’ the president declared.
‘Japan is coming here as we speak. They’re in a plane, flying lots of them, all tough negotiators, but things that people wouldn’t have given us two years ago… three years ago, five years ago, seven – they’re giving us everything.
‘They don’t want tariffs on themselves.’

He went on to mock the world leaders who are looking to save themselves from Trump’s trade war, yet it remains unclear who exactly had been trying to make a deal with the President.
Trump also bragged that he had the ‘most successful 100 days in the history of this country,’ The Independent reported.
He added that the stage is now ‘set for a monumental victory for the Republicans in the midterms’ due to his policies.
