Veteran sound engineer and entertainment pundit, Fred Kyei Mensah, popularly known as Fredyma, has claimed that some artistes within the gospel music industry are more dangerous than those in the secular music space.
The legendary producer made these statements while sharing his concerns about the dishonesty and negativity he believes exists among certain gospel artistes during a discussion on April 11, 2025, on Joy Prime TV.
“I don’t trust some people in the gospel music industry. They are more dangerous than those in the secular industry because the gospel space is very limited,” he stated.
Fredyma’s comments come in response to a broader conversation about spiritual attacks in the gospel music industry.
This topic sprang up after gospel singers Cwesi Oteng and Esther Smith shared their experiences of battling attacks from colleagues who had allegedly attempted to sabotage their careers and even end their lives.
