Popular Nigerian actress Rita Dominic has refuted reports claiming she allegedly prevented some media personnel from capturing footage at the recent birthday bash of Ghanaian businessman Richard Nii-Armah Quaye.

Dominic was a guest at the widely publicised event alongside other international celebrities, including Ramsey Nouah and Ini Edo.

However, following the celebration, some tabloids reported that she had disrupted media coverage at the event.

Taking to her Instagram account on March 24, 2025, Rita Dominic dismissed the claims as entirely false, emphasising that she respects the press and understands their role in her public life.

The award-winning actress stated that it would be unreasonable for her, as a public figure, to prevent journalists from doing their jobs.

She urged the public to stop spreading baseless stories.

“Duhh! A person who does the kind of job I do and is out in a public place would not stop the press from doing their job. That’s lame. Stop making up stories that don’t make sense,” she wrote.

The 40th birthday celebration of popular business mogul and serial investor Richard Nii-Armah Quaye has been the talk of social media, thanks to its star-studded guest list and eye-catching fashion.

Held at Independence Square in Accra on March 22, 2025, the event attracted hundreds of guests, including actors, musicians, influencers, and prominent businessmen, making it one of the most talked-about parties of the year so far.

The celebration featured live performances from top Ghanaian and Nigerian artists, including Sarkodie, Davido, King Promise, Stonebwoy, and Efya, who kept the crowd entertained.
