Members of the Believers Worship Center, popularly known as the ‘Philadelphia Movement,’ have sparked online reactions after unveiling a sculpture of their leader, Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah.

In a video circulating on social media, some church members, dressed in all-white outfits, were seen unveiling the statue as a symbol of their admiration for the Prophet.

Reports have stated that the sculpture is meant to honour his significant contributions, not only to his church members but to Ghanaians as a whole.

In the video, the artwork was designed to strikingly resemble the popular pastor, even down to the specific attire he is frequently seen wearing.

The unveiling of the sculpture has since sparked mixed reactions among netizens.

While some are praising the congregants for honouring their spiritual leader, others are criticising them for going against biblical teachings and idolizing their preacher.

This is not the first time a statue or image has been created in honour of the Believers Worship Center’s General Overseer.

His members revere him to the extent that, in an earlier instance, Kumawood actor LilWin, who is also a member of the church, once stated that Prophet Kyei-Duah is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ.
