    • Was caught on camera after a goal review went against the Roos

    • Has been compared to the US sensation “Hawk Tuah Girl”

A North Melbourne supporter has gone viral after her unfiltered reaction to a disallowed goal was broadcast live on television and the big screen at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.

With 12 minutes left in the first quarter of the club’s win over Melbourne, Paul Curtis appeared to slot a crucial goal for the Kangaroos. However, a score review revealed the ball had grazed the post, resulting in a behind instead.

The crowd’s mood quickly shifted, and cameras captured the moment a North fan expressed her fury with a double middle-finger salute.

The woman, visibly shocked, became an instant social media sensation.

‘A picture tells a thousand words there,’ a Fox Footy commentator said during the live broadcast.

Social media erupted in admiration for the unvarnished display.

The North Melbourne fan could not believe what she was seeing when Paul Curtis’s goal was overturned on review

‘US has Hawk Tuah, Australia Faaa*k Yuah,’ one fan quipped online.

Another declared, ‘What an icon,’ while a third chimed in, ‘Let’s face it, we all feel like doing this after a score review.’

Someone else simply called her ‘My spirit animal.’

Radio network SEN joined the conversation, with host and North Melbourne premiership hero David King calling for help identifying the woman.

‘Kingy wants to track this person down – if you know her, let us know!’ the network posted on X.

While the North faithful were celebrating, it was a very different story for Melbourne supporters, who came under fire after a disappointing showing from the Demons.

North Melbourne stunned the Demons with a commanding 19.11 (125) to 9.12 (66) win, thanks to a final quarter blitz that saw the Roos boot eight goals.

Nick Larkey, Cam Zurhaar and Paul Curtis all starred in the dominant performance.

Melbourne fans’ frustration boiled over as they heckled their own players at the final siren.

As captain Max Gawn led the team from the ground, some supporters near the players’ race hurled abuse, calling the team ‘an embarrassment’.

Though the players did not respond, several, including Gawn, appeared to glance toward the source of the jeers.

The Demons have now suffered back-to-back losses, having narrowly fallen to GWS in Round 1.

Defender Jake Lever also limped off during Sunday’s match, adding to the team’s woes.
