The young winger came on in the 68th minute and showed quality as he pulled off some great dribbles and crosses into the Southampton box.
The highlight of the night was his assist for Marc Cucurella for Chelsea’s fourth goal of the night.
The 19-year-old cut back a low cross to set up Cucurella, who scored the goal that cemented Chelsea’s victory.
The assist and his overall performance have ignited conversations on social media, with Chelsea fans super excited about his potential.

His performance will also excite the Ghana Football Association, as Tyrique George is eligible to play for Ghana through his father, who is a Ghanaian.
The Nigerian FA will also be interested, as he is eligible to play for the country through his mother, who is a Nigerian.
England, where Tyrique George has spent most of his life, will have the first option if the youngster’s career blossoms as anticipated.
Tyrique George was promoted to the first team of Chelsea ahead of the 2024/2025 season.
He was promoted alongside another player of Ghanaian descent, Josh Acheampong, who is tipped for greatness at Stamford Bridge.
In a statement released on their official website, Chelsea commended their dedication and hard work leading up to this achievement.
“The two 18-year-olds were part of the first-team squad that traveled to the US for our pre-season tour in the summer and have been training regularly since then, with both featuring in the Conference League and EFL Cup this season,” the club wrote.
