Ghanaian TikTok star Jackline Mensah has vehemently denied recent rumours that she had an affair with film producer Kofi Asamoah, that resulted in pregnancy.

In a video posted by GHPage TV on November 3, 2024, Jackline addressed the false allegations, which were first circulated by a TikTok page, claiming that Kofi Asamoah had impregnated her and she had an abortion.

Refuting the claims, Jackline clarified, “There is a page here on TikTok called Think that publishes false news about people. They have published a story about me that Kofi Asamoah has impregnated me and dumped me. The person doesn’t know anything about me. The truth is, Kofi and I are innocent.”

She emphasised that the only time she had an encounter with Kofi Asamoah was during a business gig, specifically a Vodafone event where multiple Kumawood stars were present.

She added that Kofi communicated through her manager for the event, and that she has never had any personal relationship with him.

Jackline further stated that she doesn’t have his contact details and does not follow him on social media.

She also expressed concern about how such rumours could damage her reputation, stating that false news can have long-lasting consequences.

“You will never know, Kofi might be in a relationship, and your fake news can damage whatever he is building. On the other hand, don’t you know you can block my blessings too? My future husband or destiny helper might be watching this, and this can affect me badly,” she explained.

Jackline statements come shortly after Kofi Asamoah also took to social media to deny the allegations.
