A graying driver has been caught on video threatening to kill a young mother and her baby during a terrifying road rage incident in North Carolina.
Myeka Dunn was driving down Highway 85 with her three-year-old son on Friday when her car was nearly hit by a driver in a blue SUV after he cut her off around 4.30pm, she claimed on Facebook.
‘He was swerving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed,’ she wrote.
She proceeded to honk her horn at him, only for him to allegedly ‘slam on his brakes in front of us.’
Dunn honked again and maneuvered her car around his to ‘get out of his way,’ but he quickly caught up with them and allegedly slammed on his brakes again.
The shaken mom pulled out her phone to record as she drove by him again, only for him to roll down his window as he came up next to her, pointing his finger out the window.
‘You’re going to die, you’re going to die!’ the man can be heard screaming. ‘I could kill you!’
‘He knew I had my child in the car because the window was down and he continued to threaten me,’ she wrote on Facebook.

Her son could be heard crying in the background as the man yelled at the pair from the next lane over.
Eventually, she was able to safely get away from the man. She immediately called the Greensboro Police Department to report the incident, but was allegedly told by a dispatcher that there was nothing that could be done as an officer had not witnessed the incident.
‘They did not seem too concerned that I felt like my life was in danger,’ she wrote on Facebook. ‘I’m so upset and hurt that my baby and my life was put in immense danger. This man’s intentions was to harm us and this could’ve ended very badly.’
She also contacted the Guilford Metro Police Department via their non-emergency number to report the dangerous driver.
Guilford Deputy Director of Operations for 911, Christine Moore, admitted to My Fox 8 that the dispatcher had incorrectly handled the situation and should have taken more information and gotten the video from the mother.
‘Typically, we enter what we call a “be on the lookout” or a BOLO. And we did. However, we did not enter all of the appropriate information that we should have,’ she told the outlet.
‘Unfortunately, in this particular incident, we didn’t follow those protocols, and we will make sure that training is done with those employees to ensure this doesn’t happen again.’
Greensboro Police put out a statement, saying they are aware of the video and that they have spoken with Dunn.
Dunn said the incident occurred after she honked her horn at him when he nearly hit her, infuriating the man who followed and threatened her
Police said the man has been identified, but Dunn will have to ‘obtain a warrant on a misdemeanor charge from the Magistrate’s Office due to the incident occurring outside the presence of officers.’
Dunn told My Fox 8 she does plan on pressing charges against the driver.
The Daily Mail has reached out to police and Dunn for comment.
