A lady was displeased after trying to report an issue with a product she bought from a supermarket.

According to her, she purchased plantain chips but was disappointed by the burnt taste. Hoping to resolve the issue, she called the number on the product’s sticker to lodge her complaint.
However, the conversation didn’t go as expected. Instead of showing concern, the vendor responded, “What do you want me to do?” a reply that left the customer stunned.

Although the vendor later apologized and offered to get a replacement from the supermarket, the initial response didn’t sit well with the lady.

The vendor-customer conversation has gathered different responses about customer service and how businesses handle complaints, with many emphasizing the importance of customer retention.
