Tom Brady stared down Logan Paul and took some savage shots at Jayden Daniels as the two captains picked their teams at flag football draft ahead of Saturday night’s game.
Brady will reunite with his former New England Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski on the field and picked running back Ashton Jeanty, who plays for the Las Vegas Raiders team he co-owns, first in the draft.
But he brought the trash talk with him ahead of Saturday’s game, too. When he and rival captain Daniels, the Washington Commanders quarterback, took to the stage first, Brady mocked the young NFL star for being injured for most of 2025.
‘All the Commanders fans are going to be happy to see Jayden on the field for the first time in seven, eight months,’ Brady said. ‘He’s delicate, slight build. Don’t worry, they don’t hit you. Just telling the truth.’
Host Kevin Hart asked Daniels if he had a reply to Brady and he joked: ‘Nah man, he’s 50.’
Brady, who is 48, laughed and then mocked Daniels for having his mom as his agent, saying: ‘I am just happy his mom let him play.’

He didn’t appear to say anything to Daniels’ co-captain Joe Burrow, who days ago was pictured partying with Alix Earle – the influencer who Brady has been romantically linked with.

When draft host Kevin Hart asked Daniels if he had anything to say back, Daniels joked: ‘No, he’s 50.’
Brady, who is 48, laughed and said he was glad to see Daniels’ mom let him play in the game – referencing how Daniels’ mother, Regina, is also his agent.
Then, the teams were picked. Brady, co-captaining the ‘Founders’ team with Jalen Hurts, went first.
‘He’s technically an employee of mine, Ashton Jeanty,’ Brady said, taking the Las Vegas Raiders running back with his opening selection.
Daniels and co-captain Joe Burrow chose Saquon Barkley with their first pick.
Wide receiver Devonta Smith joined Brady and Hurts second, Hurts picking his Eagles teammate. Davante Adams of the Los Angeles Rams then joined Daniels and Burrow’s team.

The draft was hosted by Druski and Kevin Hart in Beverly Hills on Wednesday evening
‘The player I’ve always wanted to play with,’ Burrow, the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback, intriguingly added as Adams joined him on the stage.
Brady’s founders team was then rounded out with Alvin Kamara, Stefon Diggs, Rob Gronkowski, Antoine Winfield Jr., Damar Hamlin, Patrick Peterson, Von Miller and Bud Crawford.
As for Daniels and Burrow, they had Odell Beckham Jr, DeAndre Hopkins, Kyle Juszczyk, Derwin James Jr., Jalen Ramsey and iShowSpeed for their team, called ‘Wildcats’.
Logan Paul arrived midway through and, after clashing with Brady in the buildup over who is the most athletic, stood in front of him and flexed his muscles before asking Brady if he’s still got it.
The teams have practice on Thursday and Friday, before the game itself is held at 4pm Eastern Time on Saturday afternoon.
It will be staged at BMO Stadium in LA after initially being scheduled to be played in Saudi Arabia. The war with Iran meant it was moved to California.
