Omah Lay is a Nigerian singer
Nigerian singer Omah Lay has disclosed that he is currently in the United States in search of love.
Speaking during a recent podcast appearance, the “Soso” hitmaker disclosed that he has been unable to find a suitable partner in Nigeria, prompting his decision to look elsewhere.
“I’m looking for a girlfriend, that’s why I came to the States. I’ve been searching in Nigeria, but it’s not working,” he said.
Omah Lay also made his stance clear on polygamy, stating that he does not support the idea of marrying multiple women.
“I don’t encourage men having multiple wives, so I don’t see myself doing that either. You can do your thing as a man,n but marrying multiple women, it doesn’t make sense to me,” he shared.

The singer further confirmed that he is currently single and serious about finding a partner.
“I’m single, so I’m now in the U.S to find myself a girlfriend,” he noted.
When asked about his ideal woman, Omah Lay said his partner must be attractive and preferably employed, although he is open to exceptions.
“My girlfriend definitely must have a job, but I can manage if she checks out the boxes and doesn’t have a job. My type of woman is just a pretty woman,” he added.
