Organisers of the Akwaaba Festival 2026, Ceejay Multimedia and the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), have taken a major step towards the successful staging of the event with the presentation of the festival’s official programme brochure to the Creative Arts Agency (CAA).
In a statement issued by the organisers, a high-powered delegation led by Founder Joe Osae, MUSIGA President and Senior Partner Bessa Simons, and Chief Operations Officer Richmond Adu-Poku on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, formally presented the brochure to the Chief Executive Officer of the Creative Arts Agency, Gideon Aryeequaye.
The engagement, according to the organisers, signals a strategic partnership aimed at delivering a memorable Akwaaba Festival Season 5, scheduled to take place from March 5 to 7, 2026, at the National Theatre in Accra, as part of activities marking Ghana Heritage Month.
The organisers said the collaboration with the Creative Arts Agency sets the tone for an immersive three-day celebration of Ghanaian culture, music and the arts.

Members of the public have also been invited to follow developments ahead of the festival by tuning in to the official media launch of Akwaaba Festival 2026, which will be broadcast live from Ceejay Multimedia in Lapaz, Accra, on Friday, January 30, 2026.
