Akosua Serwaa is the late Daddy Lumba’s legitimate wife
Controversial media personality, Oheneni Adazoa, has thrown her support behind Akosua Serwaa, the first spouse of the late Ghanaian highlife icon Daddy Lumba, amid the ongoing controversies surrounding the late musician’s forthcoming funeral ceremony.
In a post shared on Instagram on December 4, 2025, Oheneni Adazoa encouraged Akosua Serwaa to stay strong amid the controversies.
According to her, Akosua Serwaa should have faith in God because He will fight every battle and challenge she is going through.
“Wherever our mother is, all I want to tell her is that God will fight her battles for her. We are in a country where lies are used to replace the truth… But God has seen all her secret battles, so I want to tell her that God will fight all her battles. She even covered all Lumba’s flaws. She behaved like Abigail, and God will bless her for that,” he stated.

She additionally debunked all rumours claiming that Akosua Serwaa deliberately ignored Daddy Lumba when he needed medical attention.
She explained that Akosua Serwaa is a virtuous woman who helped Lumba significantly, adding that she single-handedly raised their children abroad and also kept Lumba’s mistakes from getting into the public domain.
“I have stayed abroad before, and I want to tell you it’s not easy to raise children abroad as a single parent. She has even paid all her mortgages. But Ghanaians are saying she has done the wrong thing by not leaving her children abroad to go wayward,” she added.
