Just in time for the holiday season, 559 Fights makes its highly anticipated return to the Visalia Convention Center on December 13th with 559 Fights 119, featuring renowned contenders from across California’s vibrant amateur fighting scene.
Following their sold-out event at Eagle Mountain Casino in October, 559 Fights 119 promises to be another exciting chapter in their series, serving as a powerful preview for the upcoming Pro-Am show featured on UFC Fight Pass, 559 Fights 120, scheduled for January 9th.
“Our mission remains unchanged,” stated 559 Fights CEO Jeremy Luchau. “We are dedicated to developing talent—fostering the growth of young athletes and preparing them for the challenges ahead in their careers. Our amateur events focus not only on delivering top-tier fights but also on showcasing fighters who are committed to doing things the right way. Our approach is distinct from other organizations out there today.”
In the main event, 559 Fights Middleweight Champion Francisco Hurtado (5-1, Coalinga, CA) aims to defend his title once more as he faces the recently crowned 559 Fights Super Middleweight Champion, Kyle Mask (7-3, Madera, CA).
“This is my Christmas gift to Valley MMA fans—a true champion versus champion showdown—Hurtado versus Mask,” Luchau added. “There’s no better bout across any division right now.”
After a three-month hiatus, Hurtado returns to the cage with momentum, fresh off a commanding first-round TKO victory over Idris Niiaazi at 559 Fights 116.
On the opposite side, Mask comes into the fight hot off his victory over Jahaad Sowell at 559 Fights 118, where he claimed the inaugural Super Middleweight Championship.
In the co-main event, 559 Fights Flyweight Champion Sajin Zacarias (6-1, Fresno, CA) will defend his title against Emiliano Granada (2-1, Clovis, CA). Now reigning as the 559 Fights Flyweight Champion for the second time, Zacarias seeks to notch his first title defense before eyeing a transition to the professional ranks.
Across the cage, Granada, who defeated Nathan Chastain via unanimous decision at 559 Fights 116, looks to extend his two-fight win streak and make his Flyweight debut in pursuit of the title.
“The lower weight classes have always been our bread and butter,” Luchau explained. “Former Flyweight Champion Terrance Saeteurn recently made his UFC debut. This matchup exemplifies who’s ready to take the next step in their careers and fight professionally.”
