A 32-year-old woman who was reported missing after booking a ride-hailing trip to the Kumasi Airport on Thursday, February 26, has reportedly been killed in a tragic road accident.
According to multiple reports, the incident occurred in the early hours of the morning while she was en route to the airport.

“A bus had broken down and was parked in the middle of the road around 4–5 a.m. The Uber, moving at high speed, didn’t see the bus and crashed into it,” Xtra O reported on its X page on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
The report stated that an eyewitness rushed both the woman and the driver to the hospital following the collision.
“According to an eyewitness, a bus was broken down and parked in the middle of the road around 4–5 am The Uber, moving at high speed, didn’t see the bus and crashed into it. The eyewitness rushed both the woman and the driver to the hospital,” it stated.

The driver of the ride-hailing vehicle survived the crash but is currently in a coma, while the woman tragically lost her life.
“Unfortunately, the woman didn’t survive; she was badly injured and stopped breathing on arrival. The Uber driver survived but is in critical condition and currently in a coma,” it added.

Unfortunately, the woman didn’t survive she was badly injured and stopped breathing on arrival. The Uber driver survived but is in critical condition and currently in a coma.
