Thirty-two players have been invited to camp as the Black Galaxies begin preparations for upcoming international assignments, with all selected players expected to report to the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram on Monday, April 20, 2026.

The squad, made up entirely of locally based players, reflects a wide pool of talent drawn from clubs across the Ghana Premier League and other domestic competitions. The goalkeeping department includes Benjamin Asare, Emmanuel Kubi, Felix Kyei, and Solomon Agbesi, all of whom have impressed with consistent performances at club level.

In defence, the technical team has assembled a strong unit featuring Ebenezer Adade, Remember Adomako, Isaac Afful, Patrick Aseidu, Razak Simpson, and Kelvin Osei Asibey, among others. Their selection highlights a blend of experience and emerging quality within the local game.

The midfield options include Seidu Saana, Etse Dogli, Mohammed Alidu, and Hubert Gyau, players expected to bring balance, creativity, and control during the training sessions. Up front, notable names such as Augustine Okrah, Richmond Opoku, Prince Tweneboah, and Albert Amoah headline a dynamic attacking group.

According to the Ghana Football Association, the camping exercise is aimed at building a comprehensive database to support the continuous monitoring and assessment of players. The initiative forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen the national team by tracking performance and development ahead of future competitions.

The exercise will also allow the technical team to evaluate player readiness and foster team cohesion as the Black Galaxies continue their preparations.
