Founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has prophesied that the Black Stars will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

This prophecy is one of many for 2025 that he shared with his congregation on the eve of the New Year.

He emphasised that God had revealed to him that Ghana would qualify for the next World Cup, stating that the Black Stars would secure their qualification in 2025.

“I’m happy the Sports Minister (Mustapha Usif) is here. The Lord told me that Ghana will qualify for the World Cup. I saw the Ghana Black Stars in the next World Cup,” he declared.

The Black Stars had a disastrous run in 2024, winning just two games throughout the calendar year. They failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, finishing at the bottom of their group in the qualifiers.

However, their only two wins in 2024 came in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, where they defeated Mali and the Central African Republic.

Ghana currently sits second in their group with 9 points after four games in the World Cup qualifiers, tied with group leaders Comoros.

The four-time African champions will resume their World Cup qualifying campaign in March, where they are scheduled to face Chad and Madagascar on matchdays 5 and 6.
