
Three hundred thousand dollars’ worth of communication equipment procured for the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) have been left to rot due to delays in obtaining the services of a network consultant.
The network consultant is to help in the deployment and networking of the equipment across the country, however, this service have not been secured years after the equipment arrived in the country.
The Commissioner, Mr Joseph Akanjolenur Whittal, who disclosed this when the Minister of State for Public Sector Reforms, Mrs Lydia Lamisi, called on him at his office in Accra last Wednesday, expressed concern over the situation and asked for measures to be taken to rectify the challenge.
