Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, believes the Black Stars will need luck to win the rest of their games.
The four-time African champions revived their chances of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
Ghana recorded a 5-0 win against Chad before a 3-0 victory over Madagascar in the Matchday 5 and 6 games of the qualifiers.
With four games remaining in the qualifiers, the sector minister says the team will need luck to secure their place in the Mundial.
“We will need luck to win the rest of our games as the team hopes to win the remaining qualifying matches,” he told Asempa FM.
Ghana, who now sit at the top of Group I with 15 points, will take on Chad and Mali in the Matchday 7 and 8 games in September before wrapping up their qualifiers against the Central African Republic and Comoros.
