Ghanaian entertainment pundit, MC Portfolio, has explained the rationale behind his recent support for King Paluta ahead of the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

In an interview with Onua FM on April 21, 2025, MC Portfolio noted that there is no professional contract that restricts him from solely supporting Stonebwoy.

He explained that Stonebwoy had given him the go-ahead to support any artiste who I deem fit to win the Artiste of the Year in the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

“I don’t have any professional contract with Stonebwoy. After the TGMAs, I went to dinner with Stonebwoy and he told me that he liked how truthful I am and therefore if I realised that any artiste deserves an award in the coming years, I should campaign for the person,” he said.

MC Portfolio added that Stonebwoy doesn’t have any personal issues with him.

He added that the “Jejereje” hitmaker respects the achievements of other artistes, therefore, he isn’t bothered about the derogatory comments on social media.

“Anytime some of the Bhim natives give me a negative energy, I know that doesn’t represent Stonebwoy himself because he is a very transparent man. I have learned a lot.

“He is someone who respects the achievements of others, so, for someone who is that selfless to tell me that if I feel another artiste deserves the same awards I should campaign for the person, I don’t think he has issues with me,” he added.
