The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations group stage draw is underway at the Mohammed V National Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.

The tournament is slated to commence from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.

The draw will have 24 teams placed into six groups of four. The top two teams in each group, along with the four best third-placed teams, will advance to the knockout stage.

Moroccan legend, Mustapha Hadji; Ivorian player, Serge Aurier; Senegal legend player, Angelou Cisse; and Nigerian legend, Joseph Yobo; will participate in the draw.

The draw has four pots with six countries in each pot. Pot 1 has Morocco (hosts), Senegal, Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria, and Ivory Coast.

Cameroon, Mali, Tunisia, South Africa, DR Congo, and Burkina Faso are in Pot 2.

Gabon, Angola, Zambia, Uganda, Equatorial Guinea, and Benin are in Pot 3, while Mozambique, Comoros, Tanzania, Sudan, Zimbabwe, and Botswana are in Pot 4.
