Stephen Ntim interacting with some people during a campaign

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is poised for a landslide victory in the December 7 general elections to form the next government, National Chairman of the party, Stephen Ntim, has assured supporters.

He said with a few days to go before the elections, the party would have to work hard and unite for victory.

Stephen Ntim made these remarks when he engaged several groups, including farmers and party faithful in the Bono Region.

After undertaking a door-to-door campaign in the Dormaa East Constituency, which drew a large crowd, Stephen Ntim said the narrative had changed and momentum was now on the side of the party.

“We absolutely need to work hard to ensure a resounding victory and win more seats to avoid the kind of situation we have in parliament,” he explained.

He emphasised that the NPP’s strategy is to secure a majority of parliamentary seats directly at the ballot box. This approach, he stressed, would eliminate the need for post-election negotiations and alliances within parliament.

“We are engaged in a disciplined and focused campaign, and we are going to win power.

“I want you all to get together with us and let’s have a peaceful election. This election is about ideas. We are not going to enter the election to fight; it is only people without ideas, people who are empty who would resort to fighting,” Stephen Ntim explained.
