Jamaican dancehall musician Adidja Palmer, popularly known as Vybz Kartel, has honoured Shatta Wale following a donation the latter made to his foundation.

In a post shared by Sammy Flex, Shatta Wale’s head of PR, on November 14, 2025, Vybz Kartel said their bond is a testament to true friendship.

He noted that Shatta Wale’s support for Vybz Kartel goes beyond a donation, describing it as an act of love and genuine friendship.

In Africa, Vybz Kartel is like an angel in our eyes – Shatta Wale tells Jamaicans

“Today I want to publicly honor and respect my brother Shatta Wale, the African dancehall superstar, for his incredible generosity toward the Adidja Palmer Foundation. Your donation wasn’t just money, it was love, urgency, and brotherhood in action,” he said.

Vybz Kartel added that Shatta’s contribution shows that dancehall isn’t only about entertainment but family and brotherhood.

“This is Africa to Jamaica, Ghana to Gaza, one rhythm, one heartbeat, one culture, united through music and real friendship.

“Shatta, your kindness reminds the world that dancehall is more than entertainment. It’s a global movement, a lifeline, a bridge connecting people across oceans,” he added.
