The young Ghanaian man who was caught attempting to steal a car has been identified as an upcoming musician going by the stage name ‘Snowbird.’
Although his real name is yet to be disclosed, Snowbird was arrested on February 3, 2026, after he was caught by a group of motorcyclists while attempting to steal a vehicle.
In the video shared on social media, the shirtless young musician was in tears, wailing in regret.
He had allegedly broken into the vehicle and was making away with it when he was spotted by some bystanders, and some motorcyclists gave chase.

The chase ended when Snowbird lost control and crashed the vehicle, leading to his capture.
Upon his arrest, he confessed that he did not know what came over him.
In the video, he is heard saying, “I don’t know what came over me to attempt the theft. Please forgive me; I regret my actions. Additionally, I didn’t intend to steal the car. Trust me on this.”
Upon his apprehension, a music video by Snowbird has been making waves on social media.
The song, titled ‘Survivor,’ showed the musician singing about determination and perseverance in the face of hardships.
