Ghanaian singer Sefa has called for patience and understanding toward emerging artistes in the music industry.
Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime on February 25, 2026, Sefa stated that while opportunities may exist for young artistes in Ghana, growth takes time and experience.
“I wouldn’t say grace is not extended to young artistes in Ghana, probably there would be opportunities, but they forget that they’re learning,” she said.
According to her, success and mastery cannot be achieved overnight, as life itself is a continuous learning process.
“Life is a learning process; you can’t just master something in a day. It’s more about giving everybody time and allowing people just be themselves to learn through the mistakes,” she shared.

Sefa further noted that critics often judge from the outside without understanding the individual’s journey.
“Sometimes people can be outside and be looking at you, saying they don’t like this or that, but you on the inside, because you haven’t made the mistake yet, you wouldn’t know that this is wrong,” she stated.
She urged the public to exercise patience and give young creatives the space to grow.
“Since it’s your life, you don’t see people from the outside, so just give people a little bit of time,” she added.
