A man and his wife played an amusing joke on their 9-year-old son after he claimed he was no longer a child but an adult.
In a video shared online, a 9-year-old boy sat between his dad and his mom, @reverendsista, when his mom announced that he had declared himself an adult and should be treated as one in the house.
In the video, his parents emphasized the responsibilities that come with being an adult. The boy looked shocked when his mom mentioned that they would no longer pay his school fees.
Since he wanted to be addressed as an adult, his dad explained that his well-being would become his sole responsibility, which would include paying for house rent, utility bills, food, clothing, and other basic needs.
His mom stressed that she and his dad would no longer be responsible for his upkeep.
After hearing about the responsibilities of adulthood, the boy, without hesitation, retracted his declaration of being an adult.
