A Nigerian lady revealed that her husband’s dislike for conventional Western-style wedding attire led her to opt for a custom-made Igbo traditional Isi-agu gown on their wedding day.

In a video posted by @finared2, the couple is seen wearing an intricately designed Isi-agu traditional attire, expertly crafted to reflect the rich traditions of Igbo heritage.

While her husband wore an Isi-agu shirt and black trousers, the bride appeared in the chapel wearing a long Isi-agu dress, a black veil, and a traditional beaded neckpiece.

The bride stated they chose to dress traditionally for their church wedding because her husband didn’t like the Western fashion of wearing a black suit and white bridal gown.

The man has faced criticism, with many reprimanding him for attending a white wedding despite his refusal to wear traditional clothing. Internet users have flooded the comment section to mock his delusional perspective.
