    “You don’t have good camera”

Hearts of Oak board member Alhaji Akanbi has claimed Ghana Premier League broadcasters StarTimes Ghana do not have quality cameras to broadcast the league.

The controversial administrator has insisted that Konadu Yiadom’s 57th-minute goal in Sunday’s Ghana Premier League clash between the Phobians and Asante Kotoko was legitimate.

Congolese midfielder Linda Mtange Don tailored in a free kick which was headed home by defender Konadu Yiadom.

A section of Kotoko’s followers believes the Black Galaxies defender was in an offside position before heading the ball into the net.

Reacting to the claims, Akanbi has insisted that if the league’s broadcasters had good cameras to cover the game, there would have been no controversy over the goal which he believes is legitimate.

“Even as at the time that our player that is Linda was about to kick the ball the camera was on him but if they (StarTimes) had good cameras they should have been able to capture the time he was about to kick the ball and look at the arrangement whether there were any movements. Like I said this is a challenge for all of us but it was a clean goal and no one can convince me that it was an off-side goal,” he claimed on Sunyani-based Service Radio on Tuesday.
