Wunmi, the widow of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has spoken out once again about the controversy surrounding the DNA test for her son, Liam.

In a recent post shared on her Instagram story, Wunmi expressed frustration following reports that another Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) had withdrawn from the ongoing DNA case.

Addressing her father-in-law, she condemned what she described as repeated delays and attempts to twist public perception about the matter.

“Another lawyer, a whole SAN, has withdrawn from the case. To my father-in-law, you can get as many lawyers as you want from anywhere in the world, but one thing is certain: you cannot manipulate this DNA. We have cooperated from day one. We have never opposed a DNA test. We showed up. We waited. We followed the law,” she wrote.

Wunmi reiterated that she has never resisted a DNA test and has consistently cooperated with the authorities since the case began.

Her remarks come shortly after a court order barred Baba Mohbad, Yomi Fabiyi, Bukky Jesse, Larry Omodia, and Adewale Mariam from making public statements or inciting remarks about Wunmi and her son for one year.

Concluding her statement, Wunmi reaffirmed her belief in the power of truth and justice, insisting that neither the court nor science can be manipulated.

She expressed hope that the truth would prevail, for Liam, for Mohbad, and for justice as November 11 draws near.
