The 8th President of the global Christ Apostolic Church, Samuel Olusegun Oladele educates Christians on emotional intelligence while praying to God.

The man of God rebuked the common way Nigerian believers give thanks to God by comparing their blessings with others’ woes.

Although, this has been too ingrained into every church mind and is unintentionally and unconsciously done, this method of thanksgiving is wrong.

Pastor Oladele educates that it is insensitivity to others’ plight and pain that makes one thank God while referring to victims.

Making instances of prayers like this and how immature it sounds, the pastor was able to drive his lessons home to the congregation.

Many became enlightened as they listened to his teaching. Here are the comments under the post:

@Saintmikke: We learn everyday, because I always make reference whenever I’m praying.

@Gbengyx: 💯True. Great lesson! Don’t make others feel less loved by God!

@chinwengo: I totally agree with him.

@dynaperson: I had a heated argument with a random babe on ig when I told her this. Thank your God without making reference to victims
