Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has taken to social media to rain insults and allegations on music producer, MOG Beatz.

MOG Beatz, in an earlier post shared on X on August 19, 2025, accused Shatta Wale of selling a music catalogue, which included songs he had produced, to an international company, amounting to millions of dollars.

According to MOG, the deal was done without his knowledge, adding that his production credits were reportedly stripped off and replaced with Shatta Wale‘s name.

In a recent development, Shatta Wale, also released a series of posts on X, to counter MOG’s claims, clarifying that he (MOG) begged him to use his beats.

“Somebody weh come beg me say mek I use en beat today deh internet deh shout. Poverty’s best friend be dat,” he said in Pidgin English.

The “On God” singer further claimed that people like MOG Beatz pray for destiny, and yet fight them when such individuals come their way.

I paid your mum’s medical bills and bought your studio gear – Shatta Wale responds to MOG Beatz

“You always ask God for destiny helpers, when they come, then you deh fight them… Ei, Ghana man,” he added.
