    Ghanaian rapper Yaw Tog (Thorsten Owusu Gyimah), a leading figure in the country’s drill movement, has signed a publishing agreement with West Night Publishing.

    Yaw Tog rose to prominence with his breakout single Soree in 2020, featuring O’Kenneth, City Boy, Reggie, and Jay Bahd.

    The track became an anthem of Ghana’s Asakaa drill sound and was followed by

    the international hit Soree Remix in 2021, featuring Stormzy and Kwesi Arthur.

    His growing catalog also includes standout tracks such as Time, Fake Ex, Gold Friends, and Asohhh.

    Through this deal, West Night will manage Yaw Tog’s publishing rights, ensuring his compositions are properly administered, collected, and positioned for new opportunities across Africa and globally.

    “This is an important step in my journey” said Yaw Tog. “I want my music to carry Ghana’s voice further, and with the right support, I can focus fully on creating and sharing my story.”

    Yaw Tog (born 8 May 2003, Kumasi) is a Ghanaian drill artiste known as one of the pioneers of the Asakaa sound.

    He gained international attention with Soree and Soree Remix and has continued to release impactful music including Time,Fake Ex, Gold Friends, and Asohhh.
