Traditional Ghanaian TikToker Nana Akwantifi Gyeabour has claimed that there is nothing evil about choosing to worship gods aside from God Almighty.

Known for his outspoken views on TikTok, Nana Gyeabour asserted that many people often describe the worship of lesser gods as sinful.

However, he dismissed such claims as untrue.

In a video shared on TikTok by Festival Zone GH, on Friday, January 2, 2026, Nana Gyeabour, who appeared to be addressing residents at an event, insisted that anyone who says worshipping lesser gods is a sin is being untruthful.

“Some people say worshipping gods is a sin. They keep repeating it, but that is not the truth. Anyone who claims that worshipping lesser gods is wrong is being untruthful. In reality, those who worship lesser gods are truthful, and the gods in turn honour them,” he said.

‘Akufo-Addo, Bawumia have been turned lesser gods’

Nana Akwantifi Gyeabour further explained that anyone who worships a lesser god understands that such deities are not selective.

According to him, only a few people hold the perception that they discriminate.

He added that when these gods are treated with care and respect, they in turn provide protection and support to their worshippers.

Addressing the gathering, he emphasised that they are in a better place today because their great great ancestors served these lesser gods faithfully.

He, therefore, urged them not to allow anyone to deceive them into abandoning such traditions.

“A lesser god is not selective or ugly; it is only some people who perceive it that way. When you treat it with care, it also takes care of you. Our great great ancestors served lesser gods, and that is why we enjoy a better place today. Do not allow anyone to deceive you,” Gyeabour declared.
