Nigerian stand-up comedian and actor, Okey Bakassi Nigerian stand-up comedian and actor, Okey Bakassi

Okey Bakassi, a renowned Nigerian stand-up comedian and actor, opened up on The Honest Brunch podcast, shedding light on the complexities of understanding women’s behavioural patterns.

With years of personal experience and observation, Bakassi has gained valuable insights into the emotional dynamics that often govern women’s actions and reactions.

According to him, much of this unpredictability comes from a lack of clarity in women’s desires, a trait that many women may not even be fully aware of.

“I’ve spent a lot of time studying how women behave,” he admitted. “You’ll notice that, in general, women can be unclear about what they want. And sometimes, they don’t even realize it themselves.”

He went on to explain that this uncertainty can cause a range of behaviours that men often struggle to understand.

He reflected on his own marriage, citing his wife as an example to illustrate his point. “There are times when my wife will get upset with me, and I don’t even know why,” Bakassi shared.

“She might be angry, and then, within moments, she’s calm again. It’s confusing for men, but it’s part of the natural ebb and flow of emotions.”

According to Bakassi, this emotional shift is something most men encounter when dealing with women, whether in romantic relationships, friendships, or family dynamics.

He encouraged men to stay aware of these emotional fluctuations and suggested that it’s important to respond with patience and understanding when they happen.
