The attack, according to a report by adomonline.com, has left the woman critically injured, prompting her immediate transfer to the Juaboso Government Hospital for emergency treatment.

Police confirmed that the suspect was arrested following reports of the incident and that he sustained injuries after being confronted by residents.

At the time of his arrest, the suspect had a swollen left eye and forehead, as well as bleeding from his left leg. He was treated at the hospital and later discharged.

Police say that the suspect is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
