Elon Musk and Tucker Carlson sported massive MAGA hats as they visited President Donald Trump at the White House.
The pair were captured walking with Trump along the South Portico in a photograph posted to the president’s official X account on Friday.
Carlson is laughing in the picture, while all three men are giving Trump’s trademark thumbs-up.
Musk separately posted a picture of himself Thursday night in the Oval Office, alongside the Resolute Desk, wearing the oversized red ball cap.
Carlson was spotted by reporters entering the West Wing on Thursday.
His son, Buckley Carlson, was recently hired to be a spokesperson for Vice President J.D. Vance.
The pictures led to laughs and compliments from Trump’s MAGA supporters.
But on Friday, Trump found himself peppered with questions about Musk – including what the president thought about the billionaire being portrayed on the Time magazine cover sitting behind ‘your Resolute Desk.’
The question came in the Oval Office while Trump was meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.

Elon Musk also posted a picture of himself in his giant MAGA hat next to the Resolute Desk Thursday night in the Oval Office. Musk was the center of attention Friday when Time magazine put him on the cover sitting at the president’s famous desk
‘Is Time Magazine still in business? I didn’t even know that,’ Trump dryly responded.
He added: ‘Elon is doing a great job. He’s finding tremendous fraud and corruption and waste,’ the president added, pointing to the work the billionaire has done collapsing USAID. ‘He’s got a staff that’s fantastic. He’s wanted to do this for a long time.’
On Friday morning, Musk was hurling a lovefest in the president’s direction.

Musk highlighted a post where Trump said he was going to end the ‘ridiculous Biden push for Paper Straws, which don’t work.’
‘I love @realdonaldtrump as much as a straight man can love another man,’ Musk also professed on X.
That prompted a question from Fox News’ Peter Doocy during the afternoon press conference with Ishiba.
Doocy asked if the first lady was OK with Musk’s pronouncement.

‘Oh I think she’ll be OK with it, somehow,’ Trump said.
Trump was asked a number of other Musk-related questions during the 37-minute press conference – the second the president held this week with a foreign leader.
Doocy also asked if a DOGE engineer who was fired for ‘inappropriate posts’ – they were racist in nature – should be be rehired, something that Vice President J.D. Vance had said earlier Friday on X.
‘Did you say that?’ Trump asked Vance, who was in the audience. ‘I’m with the vice president.’
Trump also confirmed that he’d allow Musk to go through Pentagon spending.
‘Pentagon, education, just everything. Just everything,’ Trump answered.
Musk came up again as NBC News asked about the criticism from Democrats that Musk and DOGE were engaged in an ‘unlawful power grab.’
‘Is there anything you’ve told Elon Musk, he cannot touch?’ Trump was asked.
Trump answered that the two hadn’t discussed that much.
‘I’ll tell him to go here, go there, and he does it, he has a very capable group of people. Very, very capable. They know what they’re doing,’ Trump said.
‘They’ll ask questions and they’ll see immediately if somebody gets tongue-tied that they’re either crooked or don’t know what they’re doing.’
