Ghanaian actor Abrahim Davis, popularly known as Salinko, surprised many when he donated GH₵20,000 to gospel musician Grace Ashley during her 25th anniversary celebration.

Following his generous gesture, Salinko was asked why he chose to give that specific amount and why he didn’t add the GH₵10,000 that Bishop Salifu Amoako had suggested.

Speaking to ZionFelix TV, Salinko explained that giving is something he genuinely enjoys because he attributes all his success to God, not man.

“Offering is something I love to do because God is the one behind my success, not human,” he said.

Addressing why he couldn’t fulfill the bishop’s request for an extra GH₵10,000, Salinko humorously mentioned that he had several upcoming events and commitments to prepare for, including Koleege’s mother’s funeral, Diana Asamoah’s mother’s funeral, Mama Esther’s mother’s funeral, and the 25th anniversary of ‘Choboi.’ With a smile, he added that perhaps Bishop Salifu Amoako himself would have to cover that additional amount.

The actor emphasized that he has never been afraid to give offerings, even during tough times. He recalled moments when he gave so freely that people thought he might be “losing it.”

Salinko expressed strong faith that whatever he gives toward God’s work will be rewarded double. He added that the GH₵20,000 gift to Grace Ashley was not excessive, either for him or in the eyes of God.

The event drew a large turnout of public figures and entertainers who came out to support Grace Ashley as she marked a remarkable milestone in her gospel music journey.
